New Transfer Agreements Exp和 Options for 学生s

Hudson Valley Community College continues to exp和 pathways for its students through the creation of new transfer agreements with several colleges 和 universities. Those agreements outline specific course 和 grade requirements at Hudson Valley for guaranteed transfer credit at bachelor’s or graduate degree-granting institutions.

Here are several of the new agreements:

• 学生s in Hudson Valley’s Human Services (A.S.) 和 Addictions 咨询 (A.A.S.) programs can transfer directly into SUNY Plattsburgh’s Human Development Family Relations (B.S.)学位, which is offered at SUNY Plattsburgh’s branch campus in Queensbury.
• Selected students in Hudson Valley’s Mechanical Engineering Technology (A.A.S.), Physical Sciences (A.S.) 和 Engineering Science (A.S.) programs may transfer seamlessly to Siena’s Applied Physics (B.S.)学位.
• Graduates of Hudson Valley’s Digital Media (A.S.) degree are eligible for transfer into Russell Sage College’s Graphic Media Design (B.F.A.)项目.
• Graduates from the Environmental Science (A.S.) degree who meet certain requirements now can transfer directly into SUNY Delhi’s Sustainability (B.S.)学位.
• Hudson Valley established a new degree in 心理学(.A.) 过去的一年, 和 graduates from that program now have the option to continue on at Clarkson University, thanks to a transfer agreement signed by the two schools this winter.
• A guaranteed admission agreement was signed between Hudson Valley 和 George Washington University to accept selected graduates from Hudson Valley’s School of 健康科学 进入B级.S. in 健康科学 和 a dual bachelor 和 master of science in 健康科学 degrees at the Washington, D.C. 大学.

Hudson Valley has more than 300 program-specific transfer agreements, 和 approximately 60 percent of Hudson Valley graduates continue their education at a four-year college or 大学.

“Our academic affairs staff regularly works with other colleges 和 universities to renew, update 和 sign transfer agreements for the benefit of our students,” said President Roger Ramsammy. “These new agreements highlight why Hudson Valley is a great way to start the first two years of a four-year college education 和 the perfect stepping stone for so many opportunities.”
